Serious critical 18 vehicle accident on I 790 two killed and 20 injured

Monday morning at 6:45 a.m. on northbound interstate 790, the serious accident was happened. The city’s Police Department was not done investigating the accident. They believed two tractor trailers collided and started a chain reaction crash. A total of four tractor trailers and 14 cars were involved. Brooklyn city Police Sgt. Albert Wei reported two people in cars were killed and 20 people were injured and four of them seriously hurt.
All five of the fire department’s ambulances and four nearby city’s fire department were on scene. The Fire Chief, Tony Sullivan, said his firefighters had to cut the roofs of three of cars to help people were trapped inside. Also, the “Life Flight” helicopter of Memorial Hospital in Brooklyn city helped two of serious injuries. Sullivan said the crash scene looked like something from the war zone.
The entire highway north and south that area was closed, since people who normally used this way had to go Interstate 690, on the eastern side of the city, and that backed up traffic on 690 for three hours.
